Open Architecture (OA) by TeleSecurity Sciences (TSS)

TSS OA Workflow Sequence:

  1. Scanner: push DICOS images to the PACS Server

  2. ATR (Automated Threat Recognition): push ATR Threat Detection Report (ATDR) to the PACS Server.

  3. PVS (Primary Viewing Station): push Operator Threat Detection Report (OTDR) to the PACS Server.

  4. SVS (Secondary Viewing Station): push OTDR to the PACS Server.

NOTE: Common Workstation (CW) can be used in place of PVS and SVS.

Benefits:

  • Plug in any supported scanner, ATR, PVS, or SVS for enhanced security, throughput, and passenger experience.

  • Archive all image and TDR data (both ATR and PVS results) to continuously improve ATR and PVS/SVS performance—unlike legacy architectures that discard valuable data, which increases long-term operational and upgrade costs.

How do we achieve TSS OA quickly?

  • Integrate the Common Workstation (with PACS) with an OEM scanner. The system is now OA.

  • TSS has done this with one OEM, and the integration was completed in a few days.
